Drowned fig tree

Linda says... ??? Perhaps, they don't like wet feet. Don't water it any more (at all) and wait and see. I have noticed that I get curled up /cupped up leaves on my fig ( but not all over - not sure whether it is a mite ( can't see anything) or a fungus. Figless starts with ... Due to an irrigation error it looks like I have drowned my 5 year old fig tree the leaves have shrivelled and the small imature fruit is also getting soft and looks dreadful.
