Dward pomegranate parfiaka

I’m looking to purchase 6 dwarf pomegranate Parfianka to grow as a hedge in an awkward position with only 2 hours afternoon sun (but lightly shaded the rest of the day). Can you tell me if this is slow growing?

And any other recommendations to grow a fruit tree hedge at a spot without much light? I’m already resigned to not much fruit, but would be good if the tree itself would be happy.

Hi In-Coral
I've seen my previous neighbor planted a hedge of Lily pillies in a one meter spot with only 2 hours of mid noon sunlight. The result wasn't pretty. The plants were leggy and they started only to produce more leaves when they were above the fence and the eaves where they were able to seek longer sunlight exposure. Some of the hedge members died and only the strongest survived. I think it is futile and expensive exercise. Dwarf parfianca is not cheap. You better off planting English or japanese box instead. They are much cheaper and tougher than a dwarf fruit tree.
The question is what is the location looked like? Is it under a huge tree, in between 2 adjacent building etc? You haven't described the proposed location so we can explore other possibilities. If you have time please do so.
Happy gardening 😀
