Dwarf Fig

    1 responses

I have just come back from holidays and my Dwarf Fig has brown crispy leaves and it looks like it has been eaten by some small bug from the underside. We had people watering it for us whilst away, it is approx 12 months old. Can anyone help? what is the cause.

I believe this happens to all figs, they lose their leaves over winter. I have 3 varieties of figs and all the leaves turned brown with some being eaten by bugs at different stages. They are now all re-shooting for spring so I'd be patient. If it has been watered I think it will be fine, give it some sun and time :)
