Dying Bacon Avocado – No new leaves, just new flower

Keef starts with ...
This is a 3-year-old plant, purchased last year last year. There are no new leaves only what seems to be flowers. Please can anyone help me revive this poor plant. This did flower earlier in the season which we removed as the plant is only 3 years old.

I have another plant purchased the same time that is doing very well
