Fruitylicious1 says... Hi Nev There are a few reasons why figs fail to produce the goods. 1. Normally, figs start to fruit at the age of two years but, some figs takes five to six years to fruit. There's nothing you can do if it's age related matter except to wait. 2. Too much nitrogen - if given too much nitrogenous fertilizer fig trees will produce a lot of lush foliage but no or less fruit. Lessen the nitrogen and add phosphorus instead. 3. Too much or too little water. 4. Some fig trees require pollination to produce fruit (Smyrna and San Pedro). | About the Author Fruitylicious1 TAMWORTH,2340,NSW 27th February 2018 7:05pm #UserID: 16885 Posts: 709 View All Fruitylicious1's Edible Fruit Trees |
