Does anyone know the fruiting habits for dillenia indica (elephant apple)trees situated in the tropics, eg distinct season or sporadic, does it stay on tree for long. Thanks.

Doonan QLD 4562 (07) 5449 1234. Its a nursery supplies place. There were lots of them on the ground when I visited last (probably last spring/summer).
