Feijoa leaves wilting

    0 responses

I have a small 5 y.o. feijoa tree whose leaves (half of them) are wilting. This happened before when we experienced high winds but it perked up after a couple of days.

This time they seem to be dying off. They are drying out but still retain their colour.

I am in the UK, but the tree has survived colder temperatures than this - we have had lots of sun and min of about 10 deg. C nights so far this autumn.

I replanted it this spring and it was super happy during summer - put out lots of new leaves - so this is a surprise.

There were some jerusalem artichoke leaves that were branching across and partially shading the feijoa. Could this have anything to do with it?
