David starts with ... I have 2 feijoa bushes, one an unnamed variety the other one Natzematze. Both quite close to each other. Both seem to grow well with plenty of leaves and look healthy but only had one fruit from the Natzematze and 2 tiny ones from the other. They didn't flower terribly well neither. Mind you, the one fruit I did have was delicious. Now how can I encourage them to flower then fruit?? | About the Author David12 Shepparton Vic 7th June 2008 8:46pm #UserID: 1022 Posts: 21 View All David12's Edible Fruit Trees |
Stella says... I had one in a pot for years and it never had fruit, put it in the ground and it got a few fruit but they fell off. Second year we had lots of fruit but the fruit fly got most of them so we now know to spray them. Lots of water (we are coastal so the water just goes straight through, gradually building it up)and we use Blood and Bone and liquid from the worm farm. | About the Author Perth 11th June 2008 1:11pm #UserID: 0 Posts: View All 's Edible Fruit Trees |
