TRClay starts with ... Hello all, I have been looking at planting one or two finger lime trees in my backyard, as I have a developing interest in native gardens and all that they offer. Unfortunately, I have never tried a finger lime and don't know where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find finger limes that I can taste in the Brisbane area? I'd like to be able to choose a variety that suits my interests and tastes. Cheers. | About the Author TRClay Upper Kedron 23rd September 2017 6:47pm #UserID: 16916 Posts: 1 View All TRClay's Edible Fruit Trees |

BJ11 says... I'm not in QLD so have no idea what these guys are like ... but "e;Boutique Citrus"e; are at 170 Bellthorpe West Road (www. boutiquecitrus.com.au). The Lime caviar company might also be worth contacting (I believe they are near Brisbane). Remember - different growing conditions (microclimates, soil, feeding regimes etc) will result in a subtly different flavour. Think of wine - a pinot grown in different regions tastes VERY different. So it is with most fruits. If you're only looking at two you might want to get a pair of robust plants and practice grafting to increase the range you have! | About the Author BJ11 KENSINGTON,3031,VIC 1st October 2017 12:05pm #UserID: 3414 Posts: 215 View All BJ11's Edible Fruit Trees |
