Hi guys i have an avocado tree which i purchased from someone. It's too large for my backyard. About 3m tall. It was dug out today and delivered to me. I want it gone before it dies. Its free if someone wants to come pick it up from Rooty Hill NSW. If you have any plant to give me in return that's also welcome.

Gee's they have very fragile roots, I'm interested to see how well it takes the move. I'd come down and pick it up if I knew they transplanted well. I moved a seedling the other day that is in a long pot and I had to break off a small part of some roots growing through the bottom. It looked sad for a couple of days after..

John Mc if you are coming to Sydney to get the avocado please consider taking my Iluka plum. It has grown too large for its pot (70cm square) and still going! It's also throwing too much shade on the rest of my pots. :( It's my first plum and I confess to be totally ignorant about it.

Chillilover, when I enquired about your avocado tree advertised for sale on Gumtree you've told me it was purchased from Daleys Nursery a few years ago, not "someone" lol..Thanks but I think I might save my money for a tree definitely from Daleys..
