Green Gage Plum help

Can someone please help with what may be eating the leaves of my Green Gage Plum Tree. Mostly all the new shots from pruning, but many leaves down low have holes too. I have searched and suggestions of aphids came up, but no evidence of aphids under leaves. Birds could possibly have eaten the top ones, but not the ones under....

Pauline Staff of Daley's Nursery says...
Hi Louise, it could be some sort of leaf hopper/grasshopper. They can be tricky to spot. Aphids tend to mass under a leaf and you can't miss them, and they tend to deform the leaf rather than eat holes. Do you have wallabies that could be having a nibble?
