John Mc says... Yeah, and the Australian Springtime Floral Festival is on this weekend as well. Up at the Kariong Gardens near Gosford. I went yesterday, Thursday, instead of the usual Saturday treck every year. You get to meet Graham Ross and Don Burke if you're keen. And you wouldn't know it, Forbidden fruits were there in all their glory. (they are every year) Needless to say I bought a plant or two from them. I think the last count was about 8 plants. Mainly different grafted specimens that Daley's don't carry. It was quite a coincidence when we were leaving to go back to our car there was Don right in front of us with an armful of plants. I piped up and said to my Mrs out loud, "Look hun, even the great Don Burke buys plants" He laughed and turned around and we had a great conversation, He was parked directly in front of us. It's good blokes like that can put some time aside for you. I had a great day and I'm sure you would too if you haven't been before. | About the Author John Mc 10th September 2010 7:21pm #UserID: 3496 Posts: 132 View All John Mc's Edible Fruit Trees |
