allybanana says... An easy way to get date plumb persimmon is from a commercial persimmon bought from Flemmings, many are on date plum/lotus persimmon root stock. From experience if you cut a finger width root and then lift the stub out of the ground, while leaving the fibrous part in the ground the stub above the ground then sprouts, it is then a simple matter of transplanting. ISKhan says... Thanks for reply. Actually I am living in coastal area and I collect the seed from dry Date Plum Persimmon(fig. attached) so I am not confirm that I have Fuyu or D. lotus but one thing I confirmed that the drying process of the fruit is completely natural.
