Is the dwarf red shahtoot mulberry invasive?

Hi everyone,
I'm new to gardening and am trying to create an edible garden. I'm interested in espaliering a dwarf red shahtoot mulberry on our fence. However, I've read that mulberry roots can be invasive. Does that also apply to this variety?
