Ian starts with ... Have a otherwise Jak Fruit tree 2 yrs old that has a black fungus type disease attacking the new fruit as they appear completely covering the fruit within days. Have sprayed with fungicide and dispose of the fruit as they appear but problem persists.

Bangkok says... Mine also have that in the rainyseason. Throw those flowers far away..the tree even can set fruit in wetseason, it's no big deal. Mine set 4 fruit during the wet, those are the first fruit the tree ever had. Now they are almost ripe and it already has 3 new ones. Those things are male flowers, females are larger and those will become fruit. I only fertilized my tree with 8-24-24 (a lot of it) and gave it seaweadextract sprays. | About the Author Bangkok Thailand 5th February 2017 1:36pm #UserID: 11594 Posts: 370 View All Bangkok's Edible Fruit Trees |
