amanda says... Did you see this tree lenn..? Sounds interesting! Kwai Muk is supposed to be one of the more cold tolerant artocarpus...? I wonder how southern they will go...mine may well me the most southern one in WA at present..? I haven't heard of anyone with another around the gardening traps... Mine (also about 1.8m tall) seems happy enough since I planted it out back in Aug (and it was chilly then) I wasn't sure how it would go - bring it 600kms further south. I hasn't wanted to push out it's new buds yet tho... Meanwhile the Jackfruit next to it is growing well (so far..) | About the Author amanda19 Leschenault (160kms south of Perth) 16th December 2012 12:45pm #UserID: 2309 Posts: 4607 View All amanda19's Edible Fruit Trees |

Linton says... Here are some pictures of the Richmond Kwai Muk I got from Daleys a while back. It's now putting out flushes of red new foliage so it doesn't seem to be fussed about the extreme icy conditions we've been having in Melbourne. Cheers!
