Mango royal red

Hi. Is the attached normal growth for my mango. Should I prune it and how much please.

It is less than 1 yr old. Should I remove all fruit of the next crop? (I flicked about 10 off earlier this year to promote root growth)

Cheers

Gary

This is very normal for a healthy young grafted mango. It looks lovely, but it will be too much of a burden on such a small tree so its probably best to take most of the set fruit off. If you leave a couple it may need staking for support
