Michael starts with ... Trying to find info on how big dwarf Mango Trees can get to here in Adelaide. I was told the dwarf varieties don't do very well down here so I should plant a regular tree (eg. Kensington Pride) as they only get to around 3 metres or so in Adelaide. Can anyone help? I don't want to have a problem in years to come with a tree taking over the neighbourhood! Mind you, lotsa mangos is hardly a problem! | About the Author Michael10 Adelaide 2nd December 2008 7:50am #UserID: 1719 Posts: 2 View All Michael10's Edible Fruit Trees |

Bazza says... David/Wayne, I have a grafted Indian Mango which fruited after 21 months in ground. My own Kensington Pride from seed to small pot to ground first fruit after 18 months. Remember when you buy grafted/seedling plant the "HARD" work has been done for you. It has probably been growing for 2 years before you plant in ground. The Bowen is the smaller and the Indian the taller tree. All The Best Bazza
