snottiegobble says... There were nearly 1600 at the Perth march & it was a lovely day to be marching around such a beautiful city while enlightening & educating people about Monsanto, GMOs & their intended control of this planet! All I can say is whatever you do keep all your pure seeds for the future! Amazed there wasnt any response apart from yourself Julie. People are obviously either very unaware of MONSANTO`s power or just frightened to post! | About the Author snottiegobble South of Bunbury 29th May 2013 3:18pm #UserID: 3468 Posts: 1458 View All snottiegobble's Edible Fruit Trees |
VF says... Thought I'd share this study about some effects of GMO grains on piglets - very disturbing! (Study funded by Australian Government not an advocacy group. Involved were Australian scientists, a US farmer and US veterinarians) http://www.naturalnews.com/040727_GMO_feed_severe_inflammation_pig_stomachs.html The full paper by Professor J.Carman (Flinders Uni. Sth Australia) can be viewed at http://gmojudycarman.org/relevant-research/ | About the Author VF 16th June 2013 11:17am #UserID: 6795 Posts: 736 View All VF's Edible Fruit Trees |

Mike Tr says... Monsanto seem to get a lot of heat over chemicals, GMO's and pesticides they produce. I am sure they would act counter to the public good or unethically. The have also produced great quantities of beneficial substances like DDT and Agent Orange, and fought to keep these in production fore the good of all. | About the Author Mike Tr Cairns 23rd May 2014 10:00am #UserID: 8322 Posts: 614 View All Mike Tr's Edible Fruit Trees |
MaryT says... Agent Orange was used to defoliate jungles in Vietnam to deprive the enemy of cover - it destroyed all vegetation, of course, including food crops and contaminated the land, caused cancer and deformities - what do we care? Don't they say all's fair in love and war? And when I was in Vanuatu I was told that they lost a lot of rain forests because the US made it their airbase and grew vines all over their wilderness to avoid detection, vines that can grow meters in a day, smothering the forests. I think they call it collateral damage. Tough. | About the Author MaryT Sydney 23rd May 2014 11:30am #UserID: 5412 Posts: 2066 View All MaryT's Edible Fruit Trees |
