Meyer lemon skin problem

Jacinta P starts with ... Despite feeding and watering, something keeps on happening to our meyer lemons (pictured). The skin becomes discoloured, they don't go yellow and when squeezed, the beautiful taste is absent. This tree is approximately 17 - 18 years old.
