Give it a couple of doses of Seasol, about 40 ml in a watering can of water, this might speed things up. Repeat every week or so until it behaves itself.

my nashi pear tree is about 3-4 years old and this year was the first year I pruned it. It did fruit last year but only about 15mm so it was very small fruit, hoping for a bigger fruit this year after pruning. You will need a space about 4m square and direct sunlight, and the leaves turn to a beautiful red in autunm

Hi Kieren,

Its nice to hear someone in Adelaide is having a bit of success growing nashis.

I just received an email from Daley Nurseries telling me its Hosui is now in stock. I plan to get one to go with the 20th Century nashi I have already planted in my backyard.

I hv researched the plants and apparently they polinates each other :-).

Its nice to know the tree leaves turn red in autumn. My wife always admires colorful trees.
