Nashi Pear

garrycraft starts with ...
I would kike to plant Nashi Pear and understand they need a pollination partner. I live in rural South East Queensland. What treed should I purchase.

Nashi pears commercially pollinate pears (Packham, WBC) & often overcrop when in these orchards.
This is in "warm temperate" climate of Shepparton Vic.
Packham & WBC (Williams Pear) are useful eating. Manchurian pear is also a prolific pollinator but inedible.
You could also try grafting (winter) /Budding (February), a strong branch into your current Nashi Tree. Budding several pears (Buerre Bosc &/or Josephine or the Packham or WBC, could also be grafted if you have this tree in a coolish area????
