nectarine tree

    1 responses

carol starts with ...
I purchased a grafted nectarine tree last year, it changed over to whatever it was originally, when the other grafted trees started to develope, this one went into bare branches, and a sprinkling of unrecognisable leafs,I dont pretend to know anything about these things, but pulled the tree out, what is your thoughts on what made the change into the original stem, for lack of another description, thanks carol

It sounds as though you are suggesting that the rootstock variety overtoook the tree grafted ontop.

If you'd said this prior to pulling out the tree then my advice would just to have been to prune of the shoots from the rootstock.

I suppose now it doesn't matter
