New to Passionfruit - Seeking Suggestions

Hi all, first time poster here.
Moved into my first house that i own this year, and I am slowly setting up my veggies and food trees/bushes.

I have an old existing passionfruit that the neighbour says has never produced fruit, only flowered, and has what appears a big split in the main stem. I was thinking of getting rid of it, and planting 2x different passionfruits to replace it.

I've never grown passionfruit before, can anyone suggest 1-2 types that would be suitable for Newcastle NSW?
Having never grown it before i am not sure if certain varieties require more/less management, and if i plant x2, perhaps they'll assist each other in fertilisation?

Heres a couple of photos of my existing passionfruit.
I have no idea how old it is, or what type it might be.
I assume the split in the split in the trunk (above what might be a graft point) might be a negative to the long term future of this plant.

Thanks!

Julie says...
Passionfruit are relatively short-lived, so yours is probably way past its useby date.
