Nick starts with ... For all the Melbournians here, I was at Laverton Market (AKA Rubble and Riches Market- 8 Leakes Rd) today and I noticed a guy selling a whole lot of tropicals which had a Daleys tag and the pots I think you guys use. He had longans, lychees, mangoes, jackfruits, dragonfruit, carambolas, miracle fruit, custard apples, wampis and a whole lot more. I asked about a custard apple, and it cost about $35- about the same as Daley's pricing (shame I only had $15 on me :P). For anyone interested, the market is on every Saturday and Sunday with $1 entrance and free entrance after 1pm. Their number is 9369 6426. There are also plenty of stalls for edibles, ornamentals and non plant-related stuff. | About the Author Nick T Altona, VIC 7th May 2011 6:08pm #UserID: 2663 Posts: 727 View All Nick T's Edible Fruit Trees |
