Oh I see, it's an Ogeechee...

Linton starts with ...
The Ogeechee Lime produces fruit that can be used as a substitute for normal limes and these plants were very easy to sprout from seeds. The fruit are up to 4cm long with thick juicy flesh.

But the Ogeechee Lime is not related to limes or citrus family as it is a North American Tupelo tree and comes from along the Ogeechee River in Georgia. There seems to be no information about their hardiness so I am seeking information about the climate zones of Georgia and South Carolina and how they compare to here in Melbourne. Thank you.
