Hello all... Happy 2012 to you all... My papaya plants are raging along, with flowers opening on a couple of them... A couple of small (5cm) fruits are forming on the largest plant even though the flowers appear to be male... (on long, slender, fruiting stems). Are fruit from a male plant ok? Thanks...

linnie, my plant is bi-sexual & the first fruits are bullet shaped but not on long stems, then there is a gap ( probably because of winter) where there are no fruit then at the top there are small fruit like yours with long stems & also mixture of flowers above them.
I think we both need an expert forum member to explain it all, please!
