Suzan starts with ... My two year old passionfruit has slowly been swallowed by a woody-like growth along the main’ stem’. Initially I thought the kids had whacked it with the whipper snipper but the colour change is now at head height! We had an abundance of fruit in spring so it seemed really healthy. Lately the leaves are thinning, which I assumed was seasonal but am now questioning. Is the vine diseased beyond saving? I don’t want to remove it unless necessary.
