Cuttlefish310 starts with ... I grew about 8 paw paw trees from seeds in good, well drained soil and they rocketed up in a few weeks but when about 60-75 cms tall, they suddenly stopped! All the new leaves at the tops of each tree turned a bright, greeny, yellow colour and they seemed to form tight bunches. Instead of spreading out normally, they remained quite small and the whole growing process stopped. One bigger tree about 150 cms tall developed small fruit but they simply dropped off, it has now developed the same symptoms. I use FLOURISH as a fertiliser twice a month and don't water them excessively. What could this apparent disease be? Many thanks. Glennis1 says... We havnt had a good soaking rain in Brisbane for months . Put the garden hose onto spray pattern and soak them for at least a couple of hours at least a couple of times a week while its still hot . They have quite a big spread as far as roots area . Soak a large area of ground around them . | About the Author Glennis1 MANLY WEST,4179,QLD 11th March 2017 6:39am #UserID: 9079 Posts: 12 View All Glennis1's Edible Fruit Trees |
