The tree would probably grow well, but fruit poorly. There are a couple of very low chill (ie 150hrs) peach varieties which would probably fruit ok on the tableland.

On the tablelands they should grow and fruit well. Ora-A is low chill. If other low chill stonefruit grow around there, and I assume they would/do, then it should do well.

It's not as good a fruit as either Peaches or Apricots so if there's a low chill Peach I'd suggest that instead.
