The leaves on my Pinkerton avocado plant, one year old & in a pot in hothouse), have what seems to be be black mildew on top & black spots underneath leaves. I have washed each leaf & stems to remove the mildew but what should I spray the plant with to keep it healthy?

Hi Jo26,

Keep the air in the hot house dry and good ventilation, otherwise mildew will grow again when moisture present. I spray the rubbing alcohol mixture 1:3 (1 alcohol 3 water) on the leave after sun set to stop it coming back if humidity is high in the greenhouse. Cheers
