Hi Everyone.

Just taken delivery this morning of a Pisang Ceylan Banana plant for my wifes birthday, which isnt until next thursday. The box is a bit deformed and seems to have got wet near the top.

Whats the best way of preserving until next week - should i leave it in the box or take it out asap, or something else.

If its best to plant asap thats ok too, but would be good to know if i've got options.

Thanks

You should take it out of the box and place it in a sheltered semi shade position. And water it. If you left it in the box, the leaves would start to turn yellow and look wilted. Give it several weeks to recover and then you can plant it.
