pomegranate staking?

    2 responses

I have a young pomegranate tree which I planted in the winter. It has leaved out and is now about 140 cm tall. It is leaning over so should I stake it? I do not want it to grow much taller than 7 feet for easy harvest. Thanks for any advice you may have, Louise

I would not only stake it, but re-align the tree back onto a straight vertical axis. You can maintain a pomegranate tree at 7 feet in any case.
