Sassafras

Hi everyone, Daley's suggested I try this forum.

I'm after either sassafras root bark or an actual plant. I Want to make home made root beer and this is a key ingredient.

I'm aware that is banned by FDA in the states and it is proving extremely difficult to source either here or there.

I have read that I can possibly use wintergreen in place.

Any help on either would be much appreciated, thanks.
