Dave starts with ... Hi everyone, I purchased this Satsuma Plum from Daleys along with a Miracle Fruit about a month and a half ago, where I have repotted the plum into a 43cm pot. The plum has not shown any signs of growth since then, where I thought initially it was due to transport shock, but I figured after a month it should of overcome this. I have included pictures of the tree, where it can be noticed that it looks like something is eating away at the leaves, which could be normal. Is this something I should be concerned about or should I just give it some more time? Cheers, Dave

HappyEarth says... Well winter is approaching and your plum tree is deciduous so i doubt its going to put any growth on for you until spring. As for the miracle fruit - its tropical and will be very slow growing for you in adelaide. Hope this helps, Rich www.happyearth.com.au | About the Author HappyEarth Wollongong 21st April 2010 11:56am #UserID: 2553 Posts: 181 View All HappyEarth's Edible Fruit Trees |

Dave says... Thanks Rich, ok I guess I'll just wait it out and see how it progresses. As for the Miracle Fruit I've actually created a tropical enclosure for it and although its growing slow, its doing really well. I have included some pictures as well. At the moment the enclosure is just holding in the humidity, but I'm joining my 2 passions together, computer engineering and fruit trees, where I'm designing a computer microcontroller to control and simulate a tropical environment, by generating wind, rain and heat in the enclosure. I plan to have this done as it starts to cool down here.
