Solomons garden plants

Some more Solomons garden pictures. I think the idea of permaculture gardens comes from this type of village communal garden. Everything is edible apart from some ornamental flowers.

The variety of dwarf coconut is locally called a 'children's coconut'. The eggplant also seems to be very productive growing on coral rubble, but sweet potatoes and cassava have good soil. The water fern in coconut milk was really nice- lovely texture. It's not domesticated.
