Hi, I'm really interested in plantring a sugar banana tree in my backyard. Does anyone know where I can purchase a plant perhaps in NSW or online? or if anyone has a spare one growing I'd be happy to pay for one. Thanks.

Sorry this probably is not much help but there is a banana tree growing in my yard (we moved here recently to the northern subs of Sydney). Waited and waited for the bananas to mature (right when they were $$$!!!!) but they tasted awful! Husband wonders if maybe they are plantation ones and that is why? Not sure if they grow well in Sydney to be honest..not sure if anyone else might know?
