tamarillo disease

I have a problem with the Tamarillo I bought from Daleys 7 months ago. It looks like it might be a virus, but why would that happen and does it mean I have to destroy the plant and
start again?

jakfruit etiquette says...
It could be Tobacco mosaic virus, many Solanaceae are affected, tomato, capsicum, tobacco, and tamarillo is a Solanaceae. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobacco_mosaic_virus
It could also be a response to severe cold or frost ? ie freeze damage
Are there any normal leaves lower down ?

the lower leaves are not as affected, it's really hard to say, but it looks like it's throughout the plant. Definitely not frost, as I am near the coast.
