denise1 starts with ... Recently got some seeds ordered from China via Amazon. Instead of wax jambu as labelled I got sent some tiny seeds of a weed or something- definitely not wax jambu.I have heard of other cases where people got sunflower or wheat instead of the ordered seed. Amazon is selling foxtail asparagus ferns supposedly in a wide colour range and shows photos of them all. All photos are of the exact same plant- just photoshopped into different colors. Add to the list, rainbow roses and blue strawberries. Sometimes there are so many of them passing through border mail inspection that all packages containing seeds from China will get biffed to the incinerater without inspection. That may include legitimate packages. | About the Author denise1 auckland NZ 1st April 2018 6:28am #UserID: 6832 Posts: 688 View All denise1's Edible Fruit Trees |

Fruitylicious1 says... Hi Denise Yes I have seen those photoshopped images of supposedly unusual fruit trees at Amazon and their seeds are being sold to lure unsuspecting shoppers. It's sad and infuriating at the same time because there are legitimate sites as well. Thanks for warning everyone on this page. Happy gardening :-) | About the Author Fruitylicious1 TAMWORTH,2340,NSW 2nd April 2018 12:58pm #UserID: 16885 Posts: 709 View All Fruitylicious1's Edible Fruit Trees |
