Hi, I'VE seen these trees around Brisbane but have no idea what they we, or if the yellow fruits are good for anything. In fruit now, early February. Thanks for your input

They do look interesting. In Sydney I would take the photo (or a piece if possible) to the Royal Botanic Gardens for identification. Check if that's also possible in Brisbane.
