Mariposa is what i planted but was still hit and miss - I ended up grafting 8 different including heritage CVs onto it as the Plumcot i had was a poor producer but when it did provide a couple they were huge. I like Shropshire Damson - Mariposa - Purple Gage - Santa Rosa and D`Agen the best - still yet to taste recently grafted Louisa.

Hi Joe4070,

Plum cot is an early season and partial self fertile but with Santa Rosa will increase production. Links below give more info. Cheers
