Peter91 starts with ... Is anyone selling any variations of white sapotes? I'm looking for something like a Lemon Gold, but I never see anything but Golden Globe pop up on Daleys over the past few months. Also does anyone have any information on one called a "maybell's variety" I can't seem to find much info on it, thanks. | About the Author Peter91 North Plympton 16th October 2015 10:30pm #UserID: 11892 Posts: 111 View All Peter91's Edible Fruit Trees |

Daleys Fruit Tree Nursery says... Hi Peter91 In order of popularity for white sapotes: Kampong http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/buy/white-sapote-kampong-tree.htm Golden Globe http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/buy/white-sapote-golden-globe-tree.htm Seedling http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/buy/white-sapote-seedling-tree.htm Macs Golden http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/White-Sapote-Macs-Golden.htm Lemon Gold we haven't sold since 2010 however I am happy to say that on the 9th Oct 15 we grafted 64 of them. http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/search.php?q=Lemon+Gold A wild guess would be perhaps Feb/March they could be ready assuming that we have success. Best advice is to make sure you click Notify Me when available to stay updated. Not sure about Maybell's variety. | About the Author Daleys Fruit Tree Nursery 36 Daleys Lane, Geneva via Kyogle, NSW 2474 20th October 2015 7:43pm #UserID: 5172 Posts: 80 View All Daleys Fruit Tree Nursery's Edible Fruit Trees |

Peter91 says... Thanks for the info, i've already put myself on the wait list for Macs Golden and Lemon Gold, definitely two varieties i'm interested in and would love to buy from here, I already have a Golden Globe variety from you guys too. I keep checking back daily for new varieties. I saw Maybell's on Diggers when browsing for W/S varieties and just couldn't find anything about it online anywhere, a bit strange. | About the Author Peter91 North Plympton 20th October 2015 8:03pm #UserID: 11892 Posts: 111 View All Peter91's Edible Fruit Trees |

Markmelb says... Peter91 - you possibly have Maybell mixed up with Suebell that is available in Australia - someone in your area could have one. PS.Are you the Peter with a forbidden Fruits Cherimoya? The Maybelle could be a named seedling i saw on diggers too but would really like Jason if hes still about to qualify this as he knows quiet a bit about White Sapotes. | About the Author Markmelb MOUNT WAVERLEY,3149,VIC 21st October 2015 9:34am #UserID: 7785 Posts: 1192 View All Markmelb's Edible Fruit Trees |

Linton says... My Wilson Sapote has been acting strangely. First it flowered, well after the others had finished. Then it completely defoliated and lost all it's leaves. Now it has fruits coming on the totally bare branches. The other varieties also have fruit but did not lose their leaves so I'm wondering if this is normal and if the fruit are going to hold. Thanks.
