Markmelb says... Linda - you may have to experiment - most are getting ripe around end of March - non fertilized fruit are smaller & dont have seeds and will yellow slightly or maybe fall off before fertile fruits- these do taste a little bit different to ripe large fruit with big seeds inside. What are yours you think - my fertile fruits on Pyke are as big as tennis balls now first time but past Small non fertilized fruit tasted pretty good anyway but not enough to enjoy. Look for a colour change? Some pics would help | About the Author Markmelb MOUNT WAVERLEY,3149,VIC 1st March 2017 8:51pm #UserID: 7785 Posts: 1192 View All Markmelb's Edible Fruit Trees |
