Why Elcapitan Love's Edible Plants

"Fairfields" is a family run cherry orchard of approximately 50ha of cherries on the Olympic Hwy south of Young NSW (Cherry Capital of Australia).

Cherries are grown for sale during November and December annually. Fruit is also sold on the roadside during this period.

Also have strawberries planted for sale during the cherry harvest period.

Our fresh cherries and strawberries that are harvested when they are ripe to ensure the absolute optimum flavour.

This year we have trialled some different fruits to see how they go in our climate.

We have a lot of frost during winter and we have been trialling some other plants to see how they go
