Daleys Fruit Tree Nursery says... Since it is so young it may not need to be pruned however if you had a purpose such as keeping it very small or you wanted to espalier the tree then the ideal time would be just before the buds break in Spring. To promote fruiting wood then the best time is in Summer to tip prune where you are just taking a few leaves off the end of the branches. | About the Author Daleys Fruit Tree Nursery 36 Daleys Lane, Geneva via Kyogle, NSW 2474 14th April 2016 8:17am #UserID: 5172 Posts: 80 View All Daleys Fruit Tree Nursery's Edible Fruit Trees |
