Apple Tree Help

    1 responses

Jen S starts with ...
Seeking Apple Tree Support! I planted this apple tree at my parents house in NY 8 years ago. It has not been pruned very often and generally been left doing its own thing. It doesn't look super healthy and I am wanting to revive it...if anyone has advice please let me know! Thank you!!

More Info About the Tree:
There are no other apple trees on the property, and not sure if there are any others nearby. There is a healthy pear tree on the land that was planted at the same time. As you can see in the pictures, the leaves have holes and some have an orange rust on them.

Hi, one thing I do know is you need at least two apple trees to cross polinate to produce apples. I had a sad appletree like yours and pruned it back quite harshly and it has bounced back very well. cheers. Theadora. :)
