MIke T1 says... If you collect loads of seeds from street or wild trees you will find a disappointing germination rate.I planted some a long time ago and remember they took months instead of weeks as I expected. The trees are worthwhile as few proteads produce as many flowers or induce as much excitement in nectar feeding birds and insects. | About the Author MIke T1 cairns 24th February 2015 6:26pm #UserID: 10744 Posts: 250 View All MIke T1's Edible Fruit Trees |

MIke T1 says... Leelee when you are keen to make sure a few seeds sprout when you have a lot treat groups differently. Different potting mixes, amounts of light and water are one way to do this. You could put some in a clip lock bag with slightly moistened potting mix and plant them out when roots emerge. | About the Author MIke T1 cairns 24th February 2015 8:22pm #UserID: 10744 Posts: 250 View All MIke T1's Edible Fruit Trees |
