lime suitable for container in SEQld

Rob Hunter starts with ...
I need a Lime tree variety to grow in a container in SE Qld. Any Suggestions? Must produce Limes !!

Sublime or dwarf Tahitian would be fine. Just note that it may take a year of two for the plant to be mature enough to support fruit.

In a good year, you should be able to get 10 to 15 fruits.

I have both in pots and this is based on my own experience.

My tahiti lime fruited a few months (3 or so) after i purchased it, it was not from seed i guess.

But in a big container i also grow pomelo and made it a cocktailtree. It fruits all the time, pomelo's, tahiti limes, navel and fingerlime haven't fruited yet but grow well on it.

It likes a lot of water/fertilizer though and full sun.

I remember now the navel bloomed 2-3 months after grafting onto pomelo but i took the blooms off. Since then it didn't bloom. Fingerlime has branches of 50 cm now, grows much faster then the original tree.
