Wayne says... How are you looking after it baldrick, fertilising etc. Does it look healthy. It might be a fungus stopping it flowering. I would spray with a copper spray ie. copperoxichloride. Feed it some sulphate of potash or a good complete fertiliser and spread some dolomite around for good measure. Once the tree sparkles up and looks good, give it a spray with condies crystals [just turn the water pink] with a wetting agent to encourage it to flower. Do that twice a week for a couple of weeks. I would try that and see what happens | About the Author Wayne Mackay QLD 13th January 2010 1:27pm #UserID: 338 Posts: 908 View All Wayne's Edible Fruit Trees |

baldrick says... The tree is very healthy. A mass of new shoots etc. I pruned it heavily this year and the new shoots are all over the tree. There does not appear to be any fungus/mould on the tree anywhere. The leaves are bright green. Am at a loss. It does get the recommended fertiliser and plus epsom salts. | About the Author baldrick darwin 15th January 2010 12:52pm #UserID: 1168 Posts: 16 View All baldrick's Edible Fruit Trees |

Brad says... I'm not in the tropics, but my citrus like to flower when they get water and heat. Some people I've heard keep them dry a little and then water to initiate flowering. But you need to keep the water up right through till fruiting or they can drop off. Did you maybe have a dry spell? Are lots of polinators around? I'm not aware of missing nutrients that stop flowers from setting fruit | About the Author Brad2 Como, Perth 15th January 2010 1:20pm #UserID: 2323 Posts: 762 View All Brad2's Edible Fruit Trees |
