most disgusting fruit

Anyone know what this disgusting 'fruit' is?.bit into it bout an hour ago an can still taste it...oily citrusy taste..horrible....pink flower on tree..grows only on the bark of the tree..cant be too poisonous as still kicking!

Melicope rubra. You aren't supposed to eat these. They are great looking trees and good for butterflies.
